Target audiences

The primary purpose of the glossary is to focus on those new to
the field of content management. We will provide clear, accessible
and approachable definitions that will help them learn about content
management.

Specific audiences include:
  • those new to the field of content management
  • teams responsible for selecting or implementing a CMS
  • Management responsible for CM
  • students

This will not be a technical glossary, instead focusing on providing business-focused information and wisdom, with the overall goal of improving the practice of content management.

Our efforts will concentrate on making the definitions (and the glossary) as a whole approachable for our target audience, without requiring them to obtain technical knowledge or to learn how the glossary works.

Questions and comments

JamesR: comments?

TonyB: This all makes sense to me. I only removed 'senior' from the 3rd bullet.
